Warriors Defeat Cavaliers for Superior 2-0


Basketball news - Like the first game, a similar scenario happens again in the second game. Golden State Warriors again dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers to win with a score of 132-113.

Steph Curry and Kevin Durant again became the bikes for Warriors. Curry packed a triple double with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists while Durant made double-doubles with 33 points and 13 rebounds. Shooting guard Klay Thompson also added the glitter of the Warriors after contributing 22 points and seven rebounds.

With this victory, the Warriors took a 2-0 lead over the Cavs in the final series determined by best of seven.

Playing at Oracle Arena on Monday (05/06/2017) morning WIB, the match lasted fierce in the first two quarters. Warriors speeding after netted 40 points and conceded 34 points.

Cavs then close the distance in the second 12 minutes after scoring 30 points, three more points than the Warriors so the position becomes 64-67 towards the pause.

The Warriors opened the distance in the third quarter after earning 35 points to lead 102-88 over the Cavs. Cavs are not able to follow the acquisition of Warriors numbers until the game broke up.

"We did too much over the first half but in the second quarter, I think we're getting comfortable, trying to play modestly and defensively trying to challenge their shots," Durant said after the game on ESPN.

LeBron James's performance is no less shining than Curry and Durant. The 32-year-old basketball star scored a triple double with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists but not enough to avoid the Cavs from defeat.

Power forward Kevin Love added 27 points and seven rebounds for the Cavaliers, while point guard Kyrie Irving scored 19 points.

The third game will be held at the Cavaliers headquarters in three days. Warriors just need two more games to ensure champion title. However, do not think the Warriors will achieve it easily remember last season Curry cs. Forced to bite the fingers after losing 3-4 despite winning 3-1.
