Best Participant Jr. NBA Sent to Selection Camp

Basketball news - Jr. The NBA held a school clinic visit program at a number of schools in Surabaya. Later, the best participants in the program will be included in the selection camp in Jakarta in March.

Approximately 350 students from a number of schools in Surabaya, aged 5-14 years, are present at IPH. They enthusiastically devoured various training programs that were presented by the coach team from Jr. NBA. Moreover, the program lasted two hours was packed with interesting.

"I happen to be in Jr. NBA tasked to monitor eligible participants to enter Selection Camp in Jakarta.There are currently six participants who qualify for Jakarta, three sons and three daughters," said Lucky.

Later, Lucky explains what criteria they use to select the players. They are selected based on four criteria called STAR: Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Positive Attitude, and Respect.

"So we see those four things from all the participants who were present.If there is no element that is definitely not going to enter," said Lucky.

After Surabaya, Jr. program NBA will be held in Bandung on 27 February to 3 March 2017. Then the program will be held also in Jakarta March 25 to 26 next in Cilandak Sport Center, South Jakarta.

The series of activities in the capital include tip-off ceremony, there is also a coaches clinic, and open clinic for children throughout Indonesia. But in Jakarta, participants and trainers / sports teachers can directly register with the first come-first serve system on Jr. website. The NBA.

Jakarta itself became the first stage of the Jr. program. Real NBA. Later on there will be 1000 best participants selected to enter the selection camp in Jakarta on August 26, and the next day is trimmed back to the 100 best participants selected aged 10-14 years.

They will follow the national training camp for three days in Jakarta on September 8-10 and will be re-selected into 40 boys and 24 female participants. National Training Camp will be guided by Jr. NBA Head Coach and assisted by other professional trainers.

The highlight of the National Training Camp will involve 16 children consisting of 8 sons and 8 best daughters to represent Jr. NBA Indonesia 2017 All Star. They will follow the NBA Experience and the opportunity to experience the unique NBA experience abroad with Jr. NBA All-Star from other countries in Southeast Asia.
