Kevin Durant Grabs Final MVP Degree


Basketball news - Kevin Durant marked his debut season at Golden State Warriors spectacularly. He performed neatly to bring the Warriors champions and become the final best player.

The 28-year-old small forward was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2017 Final. Following the success of the Warriors won the NBA after defeating defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1, with a 129-120 victory in the fifth game.

In the game at Oracle Arena, Oakland, Tuesday (13/6/2017), Durant packed 39 points, 7 rebounds, and five assists for 40 minutes to play. Thus, Durant packed an average of 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game in this year's final series.


"I just feel very happy to be part of this," said Durant after winning the MVP award to ABC.

"I can not wait to celebrate with my teammates in the locker room," said the former Oklahoma City Thunder star.

Durant who joined the Warriors at the start of this season carved out the record with this award. ESPN said Durant became the third player to win the MVP Final in his first season with a team, matching Magic Johnson (LA Lakers 1980) and Moses Malone (Philadelphia 76ers 1983).

In addition, Durant also became the first player since Shaquille O'Neal (2002), who always scored at least 30 points in every NBA finals.
