Dovizioso Paste Vinales Pursue MotoGP World Champion

Racing news - Among the two Ducati rider, Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) more shine than Jorge Lorenzo. Currently Dovizioso is in second place in the standings of world champion MotoGP rider this season.

The two-time winners of the series, in Italy and Catalunya, add fresh points to Dovizioso. After the first finish in Catalunya, Sunday (11/06/2017), the Italian rider had collected 104 points.

Getting closer to the leaders of the standings Maverick Vinales who got 111 points. Now both points difference just seven points. Before Catalunya, the difference is 26 points.

Vinales could not provide a greater distance for Dovizioso for being ugly in the Catalunya GP. He can only finish 10th, after the race he showed signs like there is a problem on the tire.


Honda duo pursued

Revenue points two riders Repsol Honda, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, following behind Vinales and Dovizioso. Marquez collected 88 points while Pedrosa was 4 points behind him after the Catalunya GP.

GP Catalunya is the seventh MotoGP series this season, there are still 11 more circuits where more points are collected. Opportunities are still there for Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) who is currently in position 5 in the standings while the rider.
