Pedrosa: Need Extra Concentration to Conquer Assen Circuit
Racing news - Dani Pedrosa missed victory at Assen circuit Netherlands. The last time he stepped on the highest podium occurred in 2002 and then at that time Pedrosa still appear in the 125cc class.
According to Pedrosa, Circuit Assen is not an easy field for all racers. For this 4.5 km trajectory has a slightly different texture that makes it difficult for contestants especially when it rains.
"After grabbing the podium at Catalunya, this week we leave for Holland, the race there usually requires extra concentration in order to face all kinds of situations that may throw us," said Pedrosa quoted from Crash.
"You never know how long the circuit is in a dry state. You are required to maximize every session. This is a track that I like and we will try since Friday in order to achieve the best results and compete in the leading position on the weekend," he added.
Last year Pedrosa achieved poor results when appearing at Assen Circuit. The Repsol Honda rider finished 12th and left behind 1 minute 54.369 seconds from Jack Miller who can win the race.
